SERVICES

For Entrepreneurs:

Here's the good news: There's a magnificent mountain of investment money in the world. Including money for your entrepreneurial venture.

Your venture can range from the earliest stage of working to prove your concept all the way to expanding your profitable operations to grow market share and profits faster. But ...

Regardless of the stage you're at. Take a look at the funding rates of two VC firms:

3,000 business plans reviewed / 21 investments: 0.7%
10,000 business plans received / 10 investments: 0.1%

What can you do to boost your chances of success?

Are you ready to spend 3 to 6 months of nearly full-time effort to secure your funding? Minimum?

At the same time you need to stay focused on building your company? Really?

Build your company ... or hunt for money for your business you're now not paying attention to because of the money hunt.

Meanwhile, your competitors gain further and further.

Hmmm ...

Do you really have to face this dilemma?

... even though you strongly believe you are.

Sure you need the money for your business.
Sure you know how you'll use that money.

But the less polished you and your business are, the more of your business you'll have to give away in order to get that money.

So how do you polish yourself and your business?
And does all this mean you need to know how to do everything yourself?!

It's commonly known that entrepreneurs generally try to do everything themselves, rather than sticking to their core expertise — and end up wasting lots of their very valuable time trying to learn to do something new.

Meanwhile, there are experts who can get it done 10 times faster and 10 times better with none of the pain and suffering. While reducing the risk of you losing market share to your competitors who keep focused on their business and leave you behind to choke on their dust.

Rather than fall into that common trap of losing precious customers because you were out of the office trying to raise money, why not decide on getting the help you need?

Parc Properties goes beyond merely packaging and presenting your opportunity to investors, and partners with you as an advisor to:

Identify strengths, weaknesses, and gaps, then strategize how to capitalize on your strengths, and overcome weaknesses, and fill in those gaps.

You may be underutilizing or ignoring certain strengths, ineffectively working around weaknesses, and not addressing gaps. All because you don't know how to do so at this time.

Collaborate closely with you and your team in writing your new business plan or in rewriting your existing business plan, including its marketing plan, in order to enhance its appeal to investors. We don't pretend to be the experts on your business, but:
  • We help you articulate it precisely and powerfully
  • The process of creating this business plan will help you and your team members crystallize what you're doing and how you plan to reach your objectives
  • If you already have a business plan, it might need reworking in order to tightly focus on your objective: getting funding
Package and present your business to the right investors:
  • Investors who focus on the asset class, sectors, and development stage of your venture
  • We seek investors who bring sufficient cash, as well as their own experience and contacts, acting as advisors and partners in order to ensure your venture has all possible advantages
Guide you in the transition in order to receive funding:
  • You may need to meet contingencies that fill management gaps (such as having an experienced CTO, CMO, or CFO on board)
  • Other requirements can include relocating your bootstrapped operations from casual locations (home, coffee shop, or business incubator space) into commercially zoned leased space -- or at least providing a verifiable short list
And much, much more

It's all part of the process of building a relationship. That relationship can include:

Startup consulting and advisory services:
  • Business plans with financial model and forecasts
  • Marketing plans
  • Pitch Deck / Investor Presentation
  • Finding investors
  • Advisory board services
Venture capital consulting services:
  • Executive counsel & planning
  • Market analysis & growth opportunities evaluation
  • Branding & corporate positioning
  • Sales development & marketing enhancements
  • Funding presentation development & training
  • Venture capital funding introductions
  • Board of director services
So ... let's take the first tiny step and get to know each other and see if there's a fit and something beneficial for you:

Public Relations: Getting two friends interviewed on PBS Frontline's The Choice 2012 (program content: profiling 2012 president candidates Barack Obama and Mit Romney)

Speeches of Bill Henthorn, Parc Properties partner, are course material for college students in the textbook Principles and Types of Public Speaking (16th Edition), published 2006. Bill has been referred to publicly by seasoned speakers as "a hard act to follow," and has mentored numerous people to success in their presentations.

One speech mentee stated: "I'm glad I had Bill Henthorn as my mentor. He painstakingly talked me through the structure of my speeches, sat through my initial efforts, coached me patiently and encouraged me to improve the structure as well as the delivery of my speeches. His advice and suggestions helped improve my confidence and my ability. I cannot thank him enough."
